Transition Tynedale is entirely reliant on the energy and commitment of our volunteers to make its projects happen.

This can mean anything from:
Getting your hands dirty planting seeds or meadow plants, raking and digging.
Join our team of repairers at Just Fix It repair event.
Helping at our events and market stalls.
Helping with the all-important behind the scenes stuff of administration, communications, fund raising.
Building relationships with partners or taking the lead on developing and delivering a project. You’ll find like-minded people to support you in whatever you do.

Transition Tynedale membership

You do not need to be a member to be active or support Transition Tynedale (TT). However, membership fees do play an important part in contributing to our general running costs, such as insurance and the website. Membership is valid for a year or part year between AGMs. Renewal before or at the AGM marks the start of the new term and enables you to be able to vote at the AGM, should you wish to. The fees are: £12, or £5 for unwaged, students or senior citizens. Details of your name, address, and e mail are required and held securely.
